In addition to weekly attendance at Keys Club classes, tuition covers:
*Method Books from the Lending Library
*Supplementary Books from our large Lending Library
*Studio Licensed, Printable Pieces - my studio subscriptions give students access to hundreds of pages of original music written by published piano teachers in a variety of styles and genres. We can also print exercises, flashcards, worksheets and lead sheets.
*Piano Maestro Subscription (iPad-only app)
*Studio technology and apps - including a variety of digital pianos and activities to build musical playing and listening skills
*Access to the Student Portal where you can track your lesson assignment notes, download class files, watch assigned videos, and explore extra material outside of class
*Membership in the private Keys Club Facebook group - where you can discuss assignments, post videos, ask questions, compare notes with classmates and ask for feedback from the teacher between lessons
*Free (basic) account with Piano Marvel. This gives you access to the method book but not most of the popular music titles. Because of copyright, popular music can't be included in the free account. There is an option to upgrade to Premium account status if you wish.
Tuition does NOT cover:
*Special request pieces that are not already in the student lending library or part of the subscription PDF files. These will need to be purchased separately by the student. Your teacher can recommend level-appropriate arrangements that can usually be purchased online and printed at home from sites like sheetmusicdigital.com or sheetmusicplus.com.
*Premium account with Piano Marvel. (Though our studio code will get you a discounted rate! Make sure to ask). The Premium account unlocks hundreds of popular music titles (all under copyright) that are not available under the free account. VERY worth it if your goal is to play popular music!
